"Attended" (read: loitered around with friends without a badge) Ohayocon this past weekend and had a fantastic time - A rarity for an Ohayo, but a pleasant surprise none the less.
I was a complete and utter failure in my preparations for the con, so I got like...none of my costumes done. Oops. I'm still working (ha HA, 2 years) on my Slurpler from Silent Hill 3, but I keep running into trouble because I generally have no clue what I'm doing.
It's one of those costumes I really, really don't want to wear until I'm absolutely sure it's made exactly how I want it to be made.
I'm not sure what's next, convention wise, for me - Officially, I'm only going to SDCC, DragonCon and Youmacon this year, which is completely fine - but I may try to work in another random con like Anime Central or something if I can get artist alley stuff organized in time. Who knows.
It also depends on school too, which I'm marvelously behind in already.
ANYWAY:

There are certain themes of which the interest is all-absorbing, but which are too entirely horrible for the purposes of legitimate fiction.
