PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FULL VIEW.
It's finally done! Here is my beast for the 9 Contest. He took me about a week and a half to fully create. Materials used: ON THE MANTIS: Copper refrigerator piping 2 garden spades Craft foam Model Magic 2 military grade tent stakes Steel plating Foam core board 4 mini light bulbs 2 red LEDs About 10 yards of wire of varying gagues Nuts and bolts of all sizes A surplus Russian Gas Mask Scissors Burlap fabric Acrylic paint ON 6: 20 gague wire amature Model magic Fabric Black India ink Sculpy Spring toggles Electric wiring connectors Metal snaps Stuffing Both the Mantis and 6 are fully pose-able and to scale with one another. Why 6 out of all 9 of the stitchpunks? 'Cause he's my favorite. But in retrospect it probably would have been a little more interesting to give the Mantis a foe who actually had a weapon instead of just artistic talent and cool fingers! Oh well, 6 can hold his own, just watch him. EDIT: Also, in the description on the picture, it says "cage like thorax", when really I'm talking about his ABDOMEN. Oops. Insect anatomy fail. :/ |
